Even as Sam Milby denied he had sweet moments with ex-girlfriend Anne Curts, he undeniably went out of his way to take care of her while they were shooting in Tanay. He stressed that they have not reconciled but they are friends. However he also confessed that Anne still has a special place in his heart.

'Baler' big winner in Metro Manila Film festival

The historical film "Baler" took home 10 awards at the 34th Metro Manila Film Festival awards, held at the Sofitel Hotel in Manila. The movie is a love story set amid the Siege of Baler in 1898, won Best Festival Picture, Best Director for Mark Meily, Best Actress for Anne Curtis, Best Supporting Actor for Philip Salvador, Best Screenplay, and the Gatpuno Antonio Villegas Cultural Award.

It also won Best Screenplay for Roy Iglesias, Best Cinematography for Lee Meily, Best Production Design for Aped Santos, and Best Editing for Danny Anonuevo.

Sam Milby In a Car Accident

July 10, 2007 - Sam Milby figured in a near-fatal car accident last Sunday. Milby was driving along C5 towards Taguig, with Anne Curtis and fashion editor Liz Uy as passsengers when an FX taxi made an illegal U-turn and hit them.

The taxi driver tried to escape but Milby managed to catch up with him. However Milby opt not to file any charges.
